Cusco as Viewed from Sacsayhuamán.
Peru was non stop activities from the moment we touched down in Cusco. The best way to acclimate to the altitude is to start moving around in it and that’s exactly what we did.
The Journey is the Destination!
To celebrate the completion of the Inca Trail we climbed to the top of Huayna Picchu and then treated ourselves to a night in the SkyLodge by scaling the mountain Via Ferrata Style. To actually wind down at the end of the trip we finished in the Peruvian Amazon with animals and calming jungle sounds.
